During a Thinking Day a specialist Mind Lab teacher would bring all the games and materials to run classes with your pupils throughout the day. Our classes will give your pupils a taste of our research proven methodology which provides pupils with the thinking skills they need to succeed academically and in life. The Mind Lab curriculum enables children of all abilities to gain in confidence, self awareness, use their multiple intelligences to further develop a love for learning. |
The Thinking Day would include a school wide assembly about thinking and strategy, a thinking wall of puzzles and problems during the lunchtime and a parent pupil game playing evening that night. The day could be designed around a theme of your choice such as independent thinking and creativity.
Two Thinking Day packages are available:
A - 1 teacher for a school day providing up to 7 classes of 45 minutes each for groups of up to 30, school wide assembly and a Thinking Wall at lunchtime. A Games evening for up to 30 parent/pupil pairs (pupils must come from the same 3 year age range) is available at an additional cost.
Or to reach a larger group of pupils:
B - 2 teachers for a school day providing up to 14 classes of 45 minutes each for groups of up to 30, school wide assembly and thinking wall at lunch time. A Games evening for up to 60 parent/pupil pairs (in two separate groups/rooms) is available at an additional cost.
Many schools request a ‘voluntary contribution’ from parents to cover the cost for this special event.
