Schools love Mind Lab; the Mind Lab programme puts the child at the centre of all learning activities and engages them where they are most receptive and enthusiastic - through games. Our research proven curriculum uses board games as a focus and catalyst to teach children life skills such as thinking skills, social skills and emotional skills which compliments and enhances the school curriculum.

We could immediately see the benefit of integrating Mind Lab into our curriculum to enhance our school focus on teaching thinking skills. Its great strength is that it is the most practical way to teach thinking skills, through what appears to be play, but is in fact instruction and guided learning

My goal in bringing Mind Lab to Twickenham Prep was to further develop our pupils thinking skills and problem solving strategies. We were impressed with the well thought out and innovative curriculum.

Once the classes began we were particularly impressed with the quality of the teaching and how engaged the pupils were in the classes.

The programme has had a beneficial effect upon our pupils especially in their approach to collaborative working and in developing new strategies to solve problems.

Our pupils, parents and teachers are all very enthusiastic about the programme and through activities such as pupil/parent evenings and the Mind Lab Olympics we are seeing positive benefits for the whole school community.
