  • Brings your school’s values and ethos to life through the thoughts, discussion and actions of pupils.

  • Boosts results in both reasoning and curricular exams.

The Mind Lab curriculum uses carefully selected educational board games to show children what a difference Mind Lab’s skills and tools can make to their game play and how these thinking skills, social skills and emotional intelligence skills can be transferred to all aspects of their life, whether scholastic, social or personal.

Over two million students in 34 countries confirm Mind Lab’s belief that games create an ideal learning environment by creating an engaging hands on experience. This captivating environment, combined with our educational curriculum and teaching methodology, produces a powerful impact on pupils:

We are now currently in our second year of Mind Lab, with children participating from Year 1 to Year 8. As a SENCo I track the progress of every pupil in the school using both performance and attainment tests which are administered twice yearly. One of the most noticeable differences since the introduction of Mind Lab has been a significant general upward trend of non-verbal ability scores with some pupils increasing their standard scores by as many as 20 points. The course has given our pupils further opportunities to develop the cognitive processes required to solve problems and improve their visual reasoning skills, and importantly has been of benefit to all the children participating no matter what part of the educational spectrum they are considered part of.

Schools also report significant development in pupils’ creative and critical thinking as well as in many of the PSHE curriculum topics such as social education, self awareness, self confidence, cooperation, communication, personal responsibility and learning from ones mistakes.

Mind Lab prepares children for life, through play.
